ABOUT US

ISKABA was birthed from love. The love for Afrobeat. The love for dance. And most importantly, the love between two friends guided by a goal. The goal of uniting people around these passions, and letting them forget about everything that is happening off the dancefloor. This is a time of communion and celebration.

Afrobeat is about Hiplife, Bongo Flava, Coupé Decalé, Soukous, Kwaito, Gquom, Zouk, Kizomba, Afro-pop, Afro-House, but also Reggae, Dancehall, Soca songs, Baile Funk and even Hip-Hop, Rap and R’n’b. It’s an all VIBE.

 We launched our very first party at L’Appartement of The Hoxton in September 2019 as a pre party to the night, from 8 pm to Midnight. Since then, we have taken up a monthly residency at the Jangal Paris.
